Therapeutic devices used in correction of Class II division 1 in mixed dentition: literature review

The purpose of this article is to present some therapeutic devices used in the correction of Class II in the mixed dentition. Notably, the period of change from deciduous dentition to permanent dentition is a phase in which some characteristics of malocclusion can be identified. Malocclusion is identified when there is an age relationship between the teeth and the opposing arch elements. In this way, treatments can be initiated mainly in the most precocious of Class II, seeking to correct the dentoalveolar and soft tissue skeletal problems. Therefore, presents a review of the literature presenting a study of classification of the most options, the therapeutic devices and techniques for correction as the elastic modeler of Bimler, the Klammt, a Bionator, the Simões System Network, the Pedro Planas Devices and the 4x2 Treatment.
