Angle Class III malocclusion is described by an anteroposterior dental discrepancy that may result from mandibular excess. A detailed anamnesis is essential for a correct diagnosis for the treatment decision, since Class III, as soon as diagnosed, the patient must start the treatment of malocclusion, regardless of the type of Class III, thus preventing the problem from becoming more severe. and, consequently, avoiding or reducing the need for orthognathic surgery. The use of mini-implants has become an ally for orthodontists who seek to correct Class III in patients who do not want to undergo orthognathic surgery. Class III compensatory, as the aid given by the technique itself is based on anchoring during the proclination of the upper teeth and especially the lower teeth, making it impossible to have sudden movements of lingualization, thus being able to avoid surgeries in adult patients with little compromised profiles. by malocclusion.
