Among the most prevalent malocclusions, crossbites stand out, which can be anterior and/or posterior, unilateral or bilateral. Anterior crossbite can be defined as an abnormal relationship of anterior teeth, in centric or usual relation, where one or more upper anterior teeth are positioned lingually in relation to the lower ones. This article aims to report a clinical case of early interception of anterior crossbite using removable orthodontic appliances. The device chosen for the treatment was the upper Hawley plate with palatal expander, anterior digital spring and occlusal covering for slow maxillary expansion and anterior uncrossing of the bite. It was concluded that early intervention and the use of removable appliance was able to correct the malocclusion quickly, effectively and without discomfort for the child. Therefore, interceptive orthodontic treatment is effective and establishes an excellent prognosis when properly diagnosed and treated early.
