In the field of Dentistry, the demand for aesthetics and functionality of the smile is increasingly evident, and laminated ceramic veneers are presented as satisfactory options for such purposes, as they require minimal wear on the tooth structure and restore the morphology, shape, texture, color and harmony of teeth. Thus, the present study aims to analyze the use of laminated ceramic veneers in prosthetic treatments. As a method, bibliographic research is adopted through a review of a sample of twelve scientific articles published between the years 2014 to 2022 in databases such as SciELO, CAPES, LILACS and PubMed. The results show, as the main elements for the satisfaction of the procedure, adequate planning, with emphasis on the use of digital simulations, as well as adequate preparation of the tooth and caution in the cementation of veneers. Thus, elements such as finishing, choice of materials and proper performance of procedures interfere with the final result and patient satisfaction.
