This literature review aims to describe the various types of resin cements available for dental surgeons to use in their daily clinical practice. Classifying them as to their polymerization reaction, as to their polymerization process and according to the pre-treatment of the substrate, so that the operating professional has safety, reliability and an applicability methodology for each case of cementation of prosthetic restorations.
