Abstract

The search for aesthetic procedures is increasing every day, among these procedures are aesthetic dental procedures, such as gingivectomy or gingivoplasty, which aims, among other indications, to increase the size of the teeth and reduce the gummy smile, which is what this This being the objective of the present work, which reports the case of a 21-year-old patient, who complains of “a smile with short teeth and a childlike appearance”. Through the clinical examination depth, probing and tomography, it was seen that there was a need to remove the gingival excess and bone resection to reestablish the new biological distances. Bringing the expected result to the patient.
