Abstract

Modern dentistry is more and more technological and involved in interdisciplinarity, implant dentistry is no different and is taking great strides in advancing its techniques and procedures, alongside dental prosthesis has been reaching new heights and enabling oral rehabilitation treatment more and more Currently, most edentulism cases can be treated by installing dental implants, unfortunately some cases are still unsuccessful, and this can be related to different processes, such as biomechanical and biological problems, among which we can mention fractures, loosening and inflammatory processes. Knowing the importance of constant improvement in surgical techniques and installation of prosthetic parts, this article aims to present a literature review on prosthetic complications in implant dentistry, in order to prevent the occurrence of these problems.
