Treatment of nasal necrosis by filling with hyaluronic acid

Facial filling with hyaluronic acid is an aesthetic procedure, in which great results achieved with the restoration of anatomy, through the correct form of diagnosis and execution of the techniques. Rhinofilling with a hyaluronic acid-based filler appears as an excellent alternative for the correction of minor nasal defects, supplemental or correctional post-surgical procedures, due to the simple application technique, predictability and efficacy, safety, rapid recovery of the patient and few post procedural complications. The aim of this study was to present a treatment of nasal necrosis caused by filling with hyaluronic acid with the aid of hyaluronidase, anticoagulant therapy and antibiotics. Final considerations: effective treatment to maintain blood supply, control with secondary infections must also exist, therefore the importance of using collective therapies. The sooner the assistance for diagnosis and intervention is performed, the greater the chance of avoiding aesthetic and functional impair.
