Bichectomy associated with slim face

Orofacial harmonization is a specialty of Dentistry that aims to aesthetic and functional rehabilitation of orofacial structures. Among the orofacial harmonization procedures is the bichectomy, which is a surgical procedure that removes the Bichat ball, adipose tissue located on the cheek between the buccinator and masseter muscle, aiming to decrease the volume of the same by aesthetics or function. The slim face comes in a kit, composed of six products: hyaluronidase, deoxycholate, l-carnitine, tripeptide, trisilinol, SAC manipulated and injected into the face results in reducing localized fat, regenerating connective tissue, decreasing sagging, activating the breakdown of fat, promoting the patient's self-esteem. This study aimed to report a clinical case of facial weight loss in a patient with facial adiposity that underwent orofacial harmonization treatment using the bichectomy technique associated with the slim face. The results obtained, the removal of the Bichat ball and the reduction of localized fat, were satisfactory for the professional and for the patient. It was concluded that the bichectomy associated with the slim face promotes facial weight loss.
