The lips are essential for facial aesthetics, but with aging they tend to undergo changes such as a decrease in lip height, volume and lip projection. Hyaluronic acid is naturally present in the human body, with the function of promoting skin support, hydration and elasticity. Over time, these properties are lost, increasing sagging, dehydration and the appearance of furrows and wrinkles. In order to reverse the signs of aging, dermal fillers are used, usually based on hyaluronic acid, due to their properties of tissue tolerance, effectiveness and durability. The case report described demonstrates the lip rejuvenation obtained by filling with hyaluronic acid using the lip tenting technique.
