The inclination of the teeth can cause complications to the dental elements. One of the great difficulties in orthodontics is to correct these inclinations through conventional methods, without controlling the side effects caused on the anchoring teeth and even the tooth to be moved. Among these techniques, we can highlight open section springs, segmented arches or cantilevers and mini-implants. This work carried out a bibliographical research on the verticalization of molars with the aid of mini-implants, where it describes the main characteristics of the device, the indications, clinical reports and the efficiency of the method that, in addition to reducing the treatment time, minimizes the side effects and reduced number of orthodontic accessories.
