The objective of this work was to assess the longevity and success of porcelain facets (PVRs). In constant search for dental aesthetics, it seems that the PVRs become one of the most sought-after and well-succeeded modalities of dentistry. Through a review of the literature, it was possible to conclude that the adhesive system and also the structure on which the PVRs are going to be cemented are highly linked to the longevity of the treatment and also to the success, and with the same analysis it was possible to understand that it is of extreme importance or dental surgery to know the most indicated materials and techniques so that more and more PVRs come to gain space in dentistry and improve dental aesthetics for two patients.
