This study aimed to assess the knowledge of students from the last year of the Faculty of Dentistry Morgana Potrich on the use of nitrous oxide as conscious sedation, as well as whether or not your approach within that course. It conducted a cross sectional study by means of a semi-structured questionnaire applied to 54 graduate students of Dentistry course (62%). As a result, we observe a subjective knowledge acquired during the undergraduate course on conscious sedation with nitrous oxide and its indications. There was great interest for the implementation of specific course in educational institution and interest of most graduate students to adopt the conscious sedation dental office.
